Bob’s love for music began early
in life. With the U.S. invasion by the Beatles at age ten (1964),
learning the guitar became a must. Within a couple of years, Bob was
forming and playing in bands in his hometown of Yuma, Arizona. In
1972, after graduation from high school and at the insistence of Taylor
McBride, his music/ choral teacher, Bob traveled the U.S. and Europe
as a guitarist / vocalist with the international musical Up With People.
Between 1974 and 1979, Bob was the lead guitarist of ARIZONA, a pop-rock
band that toured throughout the U.S. and recorded four albums for
RCA Records. In 1979, Bob took a "short" 25 year hiatus
from music and began a career with the Tucson Police Department. He
continued to play occasional gigs and studio sessions until retirement
in |
| 2004. Bob is now back in the music business
full-time and continues to write and record his original music as
well as perform session work. |
